Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Drivers
A Driver Card (5 years validity) is used by the driver to record personal driving, their work and rest times. The Driver Card stores approximately the previous 28 days of data. If the vehicle has a co-driver, their Driver Card is inserted into the 2nd card slot in the vehicle unit. When required to drive, the co-driver and driver exchange slot positions, so that whoever drives the vehicle will have their Driver Card in card slot 1. The card must remain in the driver's possession and can be used in all approved digital tachographs.
